2. What we collect

We collect personal data only when you provide it directly, through:

• The contact form on /contact (name, email, subject, message)
• Direct donations or bank transfers (name, contact details, and payment reference, for receipting)
• Emails or calls you send us directly

This site does not currently use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name the tool and the data it collects before it goes live.

3. How we use it

• To respond to enquiries sent through the contact form, email, or phone
• To issue donation receipts and 80G certificates
• To send programme updates, only if you have opted in

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with third parties except where required by law or to process a donation receipt.

4. Data retention

We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry. Donation and receipt records are kept for as long as required under Indian tax law (including 80G record-keeping requirements), after which they are deleted or archived securely.

5. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you by writing to om@bhumantra.org.

6. Cookies

This site does not set cookies beyond what is strictly necessary for it to function (e.g. remembering your cookie preference, if shown).
